This is an article about the power in the hands of everyday people thanks to social media.

While the article focuses on airlines I can easily visualise it being targeted at any one providing a service.

Once the excitement of updating people what they are doing at this very minute, they will use it to communicate what they feel. The former feeds the voyeur. The latter starts a conversation. And that is what social media is about.
